Its the 08Aug08 and I just remembered it is Wahals b'day so am going to give him a call after I have followed Prach's order of updating the blog.
So woke up in the morning at five and went back to sleep to get up at seven.
It was drizzling in the morning and the moment I stepped out of the door, Dad asked me to watch out for the newspaper wala as he was delivering newspaper and trying to make it land on the steps in front of my house on the second floor.
While I was descending the stair I noticed the newspaper lying in front of the door of the house on first floor house lying in a pool of water and voila, what do I see it has a plastic wrapper around it.
Kudos, somethings have changed and we are developing (and yes the newspaper wala was on a Bajaj scooter too)
(yes, we can debate about bio degradable go green stuff etc. later let me just smile at the customer service of HT or TOI for the time being )
Had a non traffic jam route to gurgaon and surprisingly back as well during peak hours on MG road, I truly was blessed today as I know that Delhi is jammed.
Met some new pot holes on the way back from work, some I was able to avoid as could see clearly and changed my course in time, some just had to be driven through as they were easier to navigate than to switch lanes and some just had to be driven through and experienced the jolt and the bump.
So I am back home now enjoying my cuppa of T.
And wondering when will I get drenched and really enjoy the rain?
